Split a bill quickly and fairly, whether everyone is paying the same amount or different people owe different shares.
Divides the total bill, including tip, evenly among everyone. Ideal when everyone shared the food, drinks, or services roughly equally and you simply want to divide the final amount — restaurants, cafés, group outings, hotel expenses, delivery orders, or other shared costs.
Example: a bill of 1,200 with a 20% tip, for 4 people — bill 1,200, tip 240, grand total 1,440, split across 4 people. Each person pays: 360.
Another example: a bill of 2,500 with a 10% tip, for 5 people — tip 250, grand total 2,750. Each person pays: 550.
And with no tip at all: a 900 bill shared by 3 people — each person pays 300.
Lets each person pay a different percentage share of the total — useful when someone ordered more, shared different items, or the bill isn't meant to be divided evenly. Needs at least 2 people, and everyone's percentages need to add up to 100% (small rounding is fine).
Example: bill 1,200 with a 20% tip (grand total 1,440), split by share:

Another example: three friends share a 2,000 bill and agree to pay 50%, 30%, and 20% — their shares are 1,000, 600, and 400 respectively.
And a group of four sharing a 3,000 bill using 35%, 30%, 20%, and 15% shares: the amounts are 1,050, 900, 600, and 450, totaling 3,000.
Instead of calculating the tip separately and then manually dividing the final amount, the calculator handles the tip first and uses the resulting grand total for the split. You can also use the calculator when there is no tip — simply enter the bill amount and divide it equally or assign different percentage shares to each person.
For larger groups, Equal Split can save time when everyone agrees to pay the same amount, while Weighted Split gives you more control when contributions need to be different.
